Bella’s Athletics Club (BAC) is a running club based in Mpumalanga. The club promotes a healthy lifestyle by bringing like-minded people who share the same passion for running together while forming friendships and sportsmanship.

At first the running club was an informal gathering for people whose goal was to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle but didn’t have the means to run with more established clubs in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.

Founding members Messrs C. Nkosi, B. Zitha, M Shongwe and S. Taitai, would meet at Belladonna, Mpumalanga, as a starting point of their running route. The name ‘Bella’ was then derived from Belladonna.

The ultimate goal for the organisation is to promote and develop athlete in Mbombela, Limpopo and the surrounding provinces in South Africa.

The Star Foundation donated an amount of R160,000 towards Bella’s Athletics Club.
