The Star Foundation is a non-profit organisation, established by LottoStar (Pty) Ltd in order to undertake and oversee various charitable causes, while ensuring that the donation process is transparent and that all funds are accounted for.

The organisation has introduced a one-of-a- kind platform enabling donors to view the financial implications of the cause they choose to support. From the initial budget of the cause and the money raised and paid out to the charity. The platform is inspired by the core values of The Star Foundation, namely honesty and transparency.

The inspiration for the foundation came from the philanthropic contributions made by LottoStar, through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives which has provided relief for diverse causes such as education, health, sanitation, community development, animals, environmental projects and much more.

The Star Foundation believes in the spirit of Ubuntu, giving back to the communities of South Africa and uplifting those in need. Our ultimate goal is to restore dignity and uplift various communities in South Africa, all while keeping our donors a part of the journey every step of the way. In the past, we have had the honour of contributing to causes run by charities such as Project Flamingo, Gift of the Givers, Peninsula School Feeding Association to name a few.
